Warranty Provider: Remote Automation Ltd

1. Warranty Coverage

Remote Automation warrants that the covered Remote Automation product(s) shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of twelve months from the original date of purchase.

 

If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the warranty period, we will, at our sole discretion:

  • Repair the product using new or refurbished parts,
  • Replace the product with a new or refurbished unit, or
  • Issue a refund or credit equal to the purchase price.

2. What Is Covered

  • Internal hardware malfunctions
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Software/firmware malfunction due to hardware fault
  • Failure to perform advertised core functions under normal operating conditions

3. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

    • Damage due to misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper installation
    • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
    • Power surges, lightning strikes, or other acts of nature
    • Software issues unrelated to hardware (e.g., third-party app incompatibility)
    • Cosmetic damage (e.g., scratches, dents)
    • Consumable parts (e.g., batteries unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials)

4. Warranty Claim Procedure

To make a claim, the customer must:
1. Contact Service@remoteautomation.co.uk with:
o Proof of purchase
o Product serial number (if applicable)
o Description of the issue
2. Obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) if required
3. Ship the product to the address provided, postage prepaid

We recommend retaining original packaging for shipping purposes. Any product returned without a valid RMA may be refused.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law Remote Automation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Governing Law

This warranty is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
